I have found several examples of 2007 P cents that are slightly bowl shaped. These are not post mint damaged. The reverse is raised. The memorial is actually above the rim of the coin. Under a stereo microscope the EPB and each side the memorial bulge out. What would cause this to happen?

I think if you posted the photos more people would reply. I am not sure from your description what could be going on.

The coin looks normal except the reverse of the coins is raised about one millimeter above the rim. You would not see a difference on a photo from above. I have found several from the same date and they came from different die pairs.

I own none of these. I feel others would enjoy them so I list them with the photographers name when I can get one to add to the coins. I have many I've never posted yet, just waiting for the right subject to cover them.

The original poster's coin appears to show some fading clash lines under the Memorial. The outline is the top of the head.
