There is an auction on
ebay involving a coin that is in an odd category. It is treated as both ORIGINAL and COUNTERFEIT depending upon which collector you are talking to.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...280409170052It is a BEAUTIFUL near MS copy of the Sumenep CS MADURA STAR. It is on an 8R host dated 1800. The host itself may be a Boston Style bullion forgery but that is a different subject.
I am concerned with the stamp itself. I agree with the MTT site that this is a 1950's Fantasy copy of the Madura Star.
