Not really. You are not guaranteed any sort of quality of coins and some might just be worth melt value. I'd find an aspect to focus on and see where it takes you

I think you could put the same set together and maybe even a little better quality of coins for under half the price they are asking. Those foreign coins are very cheap so you could probably get that whole collection of foreign coins they are showing for a dollar or two and the rest of the coins are not anything special either they are showing. Was this going to be for a kid or was it something you were interested in yourself?

Actually the idea is great but I too worry about the actual items you would receive. It is a geat idea to start kids with something of that variety to spark their interest but note that most items are a little on the nothing side. For one thing you could purchase a magnifying glass anywhere for a dollar. The dollar stores, flea markets, etc all have them. And those folders will do more harm to a coin than they are worth. I do like the idea of all the variety of coins to inspire a kid to get interested in coins though.
Actually the seller is smart knowing full well that the average person is lazy and although may say I'll make up one like that myself, they probably never will. One trip to a coin show, coin store, flea market, would get you all those for a lot less. And too, if you try right here, many members may help out with putting together a similar variety of coins for a lot, lot less.s
