The set basically went for melt + the dansco album cost. There are several semi-keys, though the seller is definitely being liberal in his grading of the set G-F. Some of those early ones look more like FR-AG-ish, but hey; I can't complain for melt. :-) As you've noticed, I've been working on my bullion stash while maintaining a "collector's edge". I really want to get a keyless set of Standing quarters now, since that is my favorite 20th century type. They seem to be more difficult to find, at least on the bay.

Opinions?

Although spot price is up this month, I'd say good deal.

You get almost 3 rolls of Walkers for $125/roll. Not bad at all.

Even though silver has risen over the last month I still think it is a solid investment. Especially over simple silver bars or the like.

Thanks for the comments! Yeah, who needs silver bars when you can purchase classic US coinage for melt and have the possibility of carrying over some numismatic value in addition to bullion value. I feel the same way about gold type coins. The only problem now is, since I have a compulsion for completing sets, I now have a lot more key date coins on my "to purchase" list.

With some of those Walker halves it is sometimes really tuff to find a completed date. So the ones you got for that price is OK.
