It is a great looking coin, I feel it is a must have, if you are into collecting world coins, that coin would sell here at 50% more. good buy!

It's a great looking coin, but not particularly scarce. Ottoman Turkey, 5 kurush, dated AH 1293 Year 32 (which actually converts to 1906 AD). Mintage 3.3 million, .830 fine silver, .16 ounces ASW, KM# 737. If you're wondering, it's about the size of a quarter. Sadly, Year 32 is the commonest and least valuable date; CV (2006 ed.) $5 in VF. If it was just about any other date, $14 would've been a bargain for it.

And as an aside, I think that seller in Dubai is coming perilously close to crossing the line into keyword spamming. I'd be annoyed if I was searching ebay for, say, crusader coins, only to have coins like this come up from this guy because of those words in his description.

Personally, I'd avoid bidding on auctions like that, on principle.

O Master of the Understatement The line got left in the dust about a mile behind him.

I also got this one. It's an older ottoman coin but it has a hole drilled in it.

the older ottoman coin also looks quite nice, but the seller puts the weight at 1.9gram for a silver 20mm diameter coin. One of the two is false. Sort of places a small question mark on the seller on how he describes his coins?
