The write up never come up on my last post.
I found this 10 cent coin in some change today note the bottom of the water line continues on almost to the 8 in the date what could have caused this to happen?

My first guess would be a die crack, but it's a little too straight for that. Maybe a die scratch?

That's what I thought it was a scratch when I first looked at it. But when looked at with 16 power magnifier I think it is some sort of die movement that caused this to happen?
It does look a bit doubled starting in the middle going to the right but only the water line strange?
