I've just received this 1/12 Anna from a friend--thanks Latman100!
It's pretty cool seeing a clash this strong, where the obverse/reverse markings can be easily identified.
I especially like how strong the "I" in INDIA is under George V's chin.

So much easier to send them to you and have you take a picture then try and see them through a loupe, DV. Great pictures, I hadn't even noticed the obverse imprints. This coin came from a partial roll of 15 coins, all of which show the above clash.

I really like George V Indian coins, apart from the beautiful reverses, they so often have errors. I think they got the absolute most wear out of their dies that they could, and even then they pushed them a little further.

latman100- I totally agree that these are really beautiful and fascinating coins. There were just so many varieties and errors (many of the former not being mentioned in the Krause books and other catalogs). Often in the colonies quality control was very poor. So it just makes things so much more interesting for us nowadays.

In fact, here is an old topic of mine where I showed off a coin from British Hong Kong that suffered from many mint errors:
