It has a total mintage of 8,000 IF it were a Morgan it would be worth a good buck. It is very hard to find this one in high grade.

Those are great looking Shooting Medals. Some of these Shooting medals were given denominations (5Fr.) with the ok from the Government, but were not given legal status. These 5Fr. ones are the ones I collect. The St. Gallen one is my all time favorite. It has a mintage of 15,000.

now see thats why I feel in love with the shooting thalers just cant get alot of info these are large do you know the rarity on mine or value or even a good book or link to info Please..

Jim, those you put here in the forum I give you some www adresses, at two of those adresses you still can find the local shooting clubs, I guess that you might get your answer there for the question how manny the made, and so on.
