I understand it is the 1909 type composition, but it looks more orange than normal. I'm disappointed in one of the sets, there are spots on one of the pennies. The other I had to open up the air-tite to wipe the fingerprint off the inside. Report this Post to the Staff

scott3270 Pillar of the Community United States 1116 Posts	Posted 10/24/2009 12:00 am i have two sets on there way I am in ohio one is in pennsylvania and one is in indiana I should get them monday I honestly was going to sell both sets because I already had the cents and proof dollar but after seeing the real sets on ebay and not a mint photo this set looks really great I love the reproduction of the gettysburg address. so now I plan on keeping one set and selling my extra proof dollar I already had Report this Post to the Staff

Little disappointed the silver dollar has a nick right on Lincoln's nose, and 3 of the 4 cents have the famous "spots". The case wasn't wrapped in plastic...so I suppose if I wanted to re-sell it they'd never know. But I don't plan to sell. Overall pretty nice. Report this Post to the Staff

Bryan1315 Bedrock of the Community United States 14454 Posts	Posted 10/24/2009 1:45 pm got my first set today, not I guess since the other one was shipped 2 days after the first I can expect the last one to arrive Tuesday or Wednesday. I am pretty happy with the set, a few spots but all the coins look to be in pretty good shape compared to what others are reporting. The only thing I noticed is it looks like Lincoln has a wart on his nose but it looks like it was something on the die (whether he actually had a witch wart or something else but it isn't a scratch or anything). So I guess I won't have to send it back because of lack of quality here are pictures for all of you asking for them Report this Post to the Staff
