I was at a sale today and a guy had this 15 coin lot from the Philippines available. He offered them to me for $3 because they had coins dating back to WWII, but then when he looked at them again, he said his brother must have pulled the older ones out and all that were left were from the 70s and 80s, so he'd give them all to me for $1! Of course I couldn't pass that up even though I really don't collect coins from that area or have any idea what I just purchased So can anyone help me or direct me to a link/site about coins of the Philippines? I'm assuming they're not terribly valuable, but I figure at worst I wasted a whole dollar, so I can't have gone too wrong. Here's what I bought...

Sorry that a lot of them are upside down on the reverse scan...I didn't realize that until after I uploaded it.

Thanks!

Hi bwbollom, what you've got, is at least US$5.oo worth of coins. The 1Peso 1972 is already US$1.oo by itself, the other 1 peso coins are about US$0.60/each. the 10 centavo '71-72 at that grade is 50cents each. Those are current values during coin exhibits over here.

For the link you inquired, This link is only about Philippine coins,

http://www.filipinonumismatist.com

There is a also a Forum there, where you can ask questions you might have about Phillipine coins
