I stopped at Circle K down on the corner to get a Polar Pop and before I could ask the cashier my usual question, if she had any funny money, she ask me if I wanted 10 rolls of pennies that some guy used to buy cigarettes with. I said sure, and took them home to look through while watching football. Third coin in the first roll I opened: Hopefully these photos are a little better. Thanks all, for your comments and input. Questions: 1. Am I seeing things? This is a Wide A M right? 2. Crappy pictures but....any ideas as to grade? 3. Should I send it in to a TPG to be attributed and graded? 4. If so, any suggestions as to how to "clean it up" a bit? Edited by tornandfrayed75 10/27/2009 2:40 pm

Pics are very small, but it tentatively does look like a WAM. Joe

Hi: Hard to tell from your pics- any way to get a close up of the AM and the FG Initials? *If it is a 99 WAM, IMHO, "DO NOT MAKE ANY ATTEMPT TO CLEAN IT UP"! Leave it as is! You will greatly diminish the value of the coin by cleaning it up.*

Hard to tell, the pics are small, but the reverse looks correct. CONGRATS!
If it's dirty, just rinse it with tap water and rub between your fingers. A quick xylene soak won't hurt it either. I've conserved many modern Lincolns using this process with no ill effect.

Thanks Thad.
It took a long, long time and many, many boxes to find this one.
I'm still pretty stoked about it.
