I was looking for an UNC buffalo commemorative for a while now but ended up buying the set as I thought it worked out cheaper. I will most probably end up selling the PF but that would be later on. For now I would appreciate your input on these 2 commemoratives.

Hi Shatsi

MS-68 on the D mint,, I really dont have anything as a guide for Comems, But if the area by the lip and on the chin are not part of the design detail(they dont appear to be on the proof coin) then these will keep the coin below 69.

PR-67 on the P Mint,, I'm not sure if those copper colored spots are on the coin? they sure look like it one each Obv.and Rev. I think these will keep the proof coin down a bit on grade.

I hope someone else posts to this thread also !!

Hi Rick, thank you for your opinion. I looked at them again and I don't see any copper colored spots. Maybe its the lighting? I've attached a scanned version of it for a better view.

Hi Shatsi

I was hoping some of our other graders would step up on these, I get a little uncomfortable at these grade levels with other peoples coins from photo's,,

But I see that the copper colored spots are no longer on the photo's thats a good thing !!

the proof coin should make an easy PR-68 perhaps a 69 D-cam maybe even ultra cam

I think I'm going to stay put on the MS coin since I really dont have the guides to help me,,

What were you going to do with the Proof again ? Keep me in mind !

Rick
