1870 Manitoba coin. Coin is in great shape, very crisp, no fading or rubbing at all, all the detial is there like you would expect to get out of a modern coin. One very small ding on the rim. About the size of a silver dollar, just a little thinner, made out of copper I guess.
Anyway I am not a coin grader but it looks good to me so I decided to do some reasarch on the coin. The problem is that I cannot find any info one the coin or any prices.
All I know is in 1870 that Manioba became part of Canada (big mistake if you ask me [:)), I also found a COMMEMORATIVE coin on
ebay 1870 - 1970 That is similar.

The coin I have has the same but it says manitoba twice on it (top and bottem), and on one side it says 18 the other 70.
The flower here is different, and only one on my coin. Here is the text starting from the middle left and going clockwise "prairie crocus pulsatille"
Does anybody know where I can get more info on this coin or know anything about this coin?
