That was easier than I thought. 60% chance of rain, heavy at times, high winds. 50 Degrees.

Thanks you rain Gods ..thank you !

Yeah, it's miserable out. I live in the DC area and I'm having second thoughts about going. If it's anything like today, it'll be utterly miserable out there.

I think I still preferred the wheat stalks, but since they were used for 50 years I figured they wouldn't bring them back.

I'm not super excited about the design, but I like it a lot better than the capitol building design candidates.

I agree with WpgLwr 100%...boring.

This just really gets to me because how much I have enjoyed collecting my Lincolns over the last few years and now I really do not know if I want to continue. I have enjoyed this year with the four different varieties because they went side and side with Lincoln's life, but the shield? I know what he has done to defend this country and the future of all those that live here, and that a shield is a great way to depict him saving us, but with all the designs given this was the best one?

I think that qualifies as the official worst reverse on American coinage since the Wyoming quarter. It looks like a 9 year old designed it.

I hate to say it, but why haven't they just discontinued the cent? It costs more to make one than they are worth, and in today's economy...I just don't understand it.
