Can you take a close up picture of that area for us to look at?

I went through about 5000 buffs out of a hoard of old parking meter money and I think that is some sort of significant marr but it could have been made by material stuck in the die at the time of strike...a more detailed picture would be wonderful.

BTW nice patina and luster on that 38...

Sorry, I can't get another picture. This is a coin I'm considering buying as I do like the strong strike. I asked about that area from the seller and this is the response I received-

Hi Malsha, When I look at it with a 5x magnifier I can't see anything, when I put a 20x magnifer it looks as if there is the beginning of toning on the coin.
It doesn't show up to the naked eye, and if you decide to purchase, I have a full refund policy if you find that you don't like it. Let me know.

I hope its ok to post it here.

What's wrong? A real buffalo would kick your butt if you tried to brand it.

Honestly, without the coin in-hand I'd guess it was post-mint damage, either a deliberate punch or something accidental. It's a shame, too - otherwise that's a very nice coin.

Nope, there's no counter punch on it. He's also saying its a mark that's not even visible to the naked eye. He's asking $50 for it.
