I'm sure this has been brought up....but, how many of you cringe when you see someone dumping a bucket of coins Coinstar?

I think to myself, what could I find in the cash box of the coinstar machine every time I pass one.

In this day and age with many people cashing in coins, you can bet some silver is getting is getting into circulation. My sister got a well worn Standing Liberty quarter in change last summer!

Me too. I also cringe when I see cashiers mark up bills.

And what you may not know is that some of those people dumping coins into those machines may be criminals that acquired those coins from robbing a coin store, dealer from a coin show, home invasion, etc. Some of those coins may be worth a fortune. Most criminals are not stupid enough to try selling them. They want fast cash and those machines are great for that.
