Just picked up this Half Taler commemorating Salzburg's 1100 Years as a Bishopric State. Die was cast on a wavy flan, as was the case in that era. I believe this to be one of the nicer Taler designs.

1682-Salzburg-Commemorative-Half-Taler-NGC-MS-62

This is this Half Taler's older brother, graded PCGS MS-63.

Amazing design of that Salzburg's thaler. Its fascinating how complex the design is.
