I know that this idea would single them out and perhaps they don't want to be, but has a section just for the young ones been suggested or tried? This way the adults could know who they are without checking their Profiles and perhaps we could then be more helpful to them and without our "adult like" comments. Just a thought!

I know that we have quite a few young collectors here, but for security reasons, I don't think that they should be identified and singled out from the rest of the community.

It is an unfortunate world we live in and our young people are not always safe. There are too many trolls who go to forums like this one looking for young people. I think it's best to leave things as they are.

I think I have come up with a way that we could have a YN section without the dangers. Here is the link to a poll I have started to see what everyone thinks.

The poll seems to be leaning towards a "no" vote. That's ok. I do agree with their logic. There's no simple answer. I did like one comment about not allowing them to pm others and to keep their requests and so forth out in the open. Perhaps that's all that can be done at this point. Thanks for your considertion and resulting "poll" to my suggestion. Constructive and "familial CC" comments are always an important focus.
