While I don't have the winning list right here in front of me at this time I do know the Australian 2004 silver dollar Mob of Roos was one of the winners of the annual Coin of the Year contest. The contest runs 2 years behind so the 2004 coins were judged this year. I am assumming this was the silver 40mm coin out of the silver set that was produced in 2004? (I have one!!!) I make every effort to try and locate 2 or 3 of the coins of the year winners. The Favorite Trade Coin for 2004 was the Greece Olympic $2 Euro and I know a bunch of forum members have that one!!! The over all winner for 2004 was Italy's silver "Madame Butterfly" which I don't have! I am still after Italys winner in the 2003 contest but the cost has escalated sharply so it doesn't look good for me to ever own one! Anyway CONGRATS to the Aussies as they won one of the awards in this years contest!!!
