I can't believe I found one of these varieties. I looked it over vary well last night. The arrows point to the notching. Comparing it to copper coins website 1983-P It matches up almost perfect to the 1D0-001 the 4 column is exactly the same. Sorry my scans are bad for close ups. I sure would like a new camera for Christmas because mine is broken.LOL

If what I'm seeing is correct and what you are saying is true, then I just found out that I have two from yesterday!! I'm on that now and will get picts up soon for some back and forth looks. I hope were both one closer to a fine collection! ! ! And looks in great shape too. From a roll?

I would need a closer look at other devices to be sure. A marker may not be the correct way to determine a die number. The hub doubling is what determines a die number.

Images of the area in this image would need a close up to be sure. I can't see the devices that clear from the images provided.

Probably images of the bottoms of the LIBERTY And WE would help the most. Maybe after that and we aren't still sure. Then we will discuss looking closer. Thanks for the offer.

This is the best I can do with my scanner. sorry
The E looks like the one in your picture. They show the spread on them. I have also noticed the ear has a die chip or some doubling on it also?

Are the notches on the Lower Right of the Letters on LIBERTY? It appears like it does, but the image is not clear enough to tell for sure. Also the inside of the top loop of the B. Is there a spread south? And the E on WE. Does it have the spread on the west center up right? Compare it to the examples I posted above. Let me know.
