I've been wanting to add a Mark Antony Legionary Denarius to my collection for a while, but the ones I bid on always end up going for more than I can afford. Tonight I ended up winning one! It's not in the best shape, but looks like it has some decent details still in the eagle and left standard:

Mark Antony Legionary Denarius, 32-31 BC
Obverse: ANT AVG III VIR are P C, praetorian galley
Reverse: Eagle between standards
Ref: RSC 27
When it arrives, it will take the place as the oldest coin in my collection!
After winning that one, I decided to bid on a couple of Septimus Severus Denarii since it would save on shipping, I like his story, and have been wanting to expand my collection of his coins. I ended up as the high bidder on these two:

Septimius Severus AR Denarius. 197-198 AD.
Obverse: L SEPT SEV PERT AVG IMP X, laureate head right
Reverse: PACI AETERNAE, Pax seated left, holding branch and scepter
Ref: RSC 357

Septimus Severus AR Denarius
Obverse: L SEPT SEV PART AVG IMP VIIII, laureate head right
Reverse: HERCVLI DEFENS, Hercules standing right, leaning on club, holding bow
Ref: RSC 212
These will also all be the first denarii that I will be adding to my collection. I'm liking these ancients quite a bit!
