Hey guys.

I used to only list one side of whatever coin I was selling and have in my description that if someone would like the other side, to ask and I would provide it through e-mail. I did this to save a ton of money, and to cut down on my profit loss through fees. This method worked, as people asked all the time. Here is a sample item:

http://cgi.ebay.com/1966-Panama-1-4...of_W0QQitemZ a href= https://www.coincommunity.com/go/link.asp?target=https://www.ebay.com/itm/-/380183428962 target= _blank rel= nofollow 380183428962 /a QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item5884b2bf62

I just tried something new this week, using my own hosting services and uploading them at all the same size so they do not look poorly organized. This way, I get to have both pictures on an auction, and I save $.15 on every listing while gaining more chances to sell it. For example, I listed 44 items last night, so I saved a cool $6.60. Here is an example of one of the listings I did yesterday:

What do you guys think of the picture arrangement? Too big? Too small? Infinitely better than the one picture process?

Thanks guys.

Infinitely better. The more your listings seem to imply that you know coins and tokens, the less likely I'd be to consider bidding on an auction which shows only one face. You seem to know what you're doing, you choose to only show one side, therefore there's a problem with the other. That's the reasoning.

Your "new" example is an excellent auction; between the quality of the listing and your good Feedback record I'd have no problem bidding on your items.

I am sure for every request you had for the other side of the coin there were atleast 10 others that didn't bid so you probably lost more than the .15 it would have cost you to place both sides in the auction in the first place. I have always hosted my own pictures on my personal webspace and did the ebay auction in html format and added the links and page layouts myself

Major, major improvement. You are bound to get a lot more bid consideration from all those who look at your listings.

That is what I started doing Bryan, sure it takes me an extra couple of minutes or so, but it seems to be working out quite well so far, as the average number of bids and watchers is much higher than my usual listings.

with all of the above... as long as you're ok with all and sundry being able to look at *all* your pictures on Photobucket (some people have personal pictures mixed with items for sale). Pictures of both sides without the bidder needing to ask is a definite improvement - there are a lot of lazy people out there and a good percentage cruise ebay, so the more info you can present up-front, the better your chances of a sale.
