Here's a better size image of the one I posted under JoeyZ76. I believe the bottom one was a finer serif type and it was re-punched with a bolder D on top. Anyone guess? or this is close to a true find as it get. The cherry picker guide show this with both what appears to be bold type.
Very possible. Looks like a NE miss punch that may have touched the device, (Thus the thin punch) even more than I've illustrated. The mark on the west of the upright may have been tapped harder to the left on the first punch. Looks like a keeper to me. Moved the mint mark SW to final location. Nice find!
