Hello. This is one of the many coins I inherited from my Grandfather. Does the hole completely ruin the value of the coin, and where would you grade this?

Yes, holes generally really kill the value of coins, though some collectors are willing to pay more than before since they are gaining some kind of a following a bit. I'd grade it about VF-30 or VF-35 for detail, too.
