I cant say absolutely that the coin was dmaged by a brush of some kind, but it is definitely damage .

people do all kinds of things to coins , I know as a kid I did !!

thanks for the reply moderator just curious how do the mint clean or wash their coin in the mint they do wash it there ive seen some coins in circulation some bloom if it is centrifical or centrifugal bloom just a bloom start from the center it is evident in circulated coins just release for circulation just thought if it is stock in cleaning if they use brush thanks again for the info

I have don the same thing, and I can almost certainly tell you that that was done by a dremel with a small diameter steel brush. hat was definatly not done at the mint.
