I have been searching everywhere for info about this 1935 5 cents that I have with no luck. Hopefully someone here knows something about this piece. They are rays effect around George V's head and on the other side the effect is divided in 4. When you move the coin, the effects kinda move. Thanks !

Homemade.....nice effect.....numismatic value.....zero, some may buy it for folk art. Does look kinda cool. If you wish to part with it let me know.

First of all to the forum

Definitely man made as it is just so perfect and uniform..
Natural toning and effects would be spotty and far from straight lines etc.

Nice coin with special effects.. Reminds me of Star Wars

Yeah, that's an interesting one....it shows some skill. It would be good to see a closeup around letters.
Most likely somebody carefully worked that nickel, versus a mint worker altering a die.

Neat...much neater than a hobo nickel.

I wonder when it was done...

My pic is not good enough to make a clear closeup around letters but it's very minutious with no demarcation. I didn't know some people did that and it ended up in circulation again. It is pretty cool, especially when you move it. I guess I own something rare but with no value, I'm waiting for offers lol

I knew it! I've always suspected the "real" coins were made by god.
