I'm probably late to ask this or it is already in another thread, but is the 2006 gold 50c the last one of these type? Why did they stop doing it?

As far as I know, the 2003 was the cent with the gold Maple, the '04 was the gold poppy 25c, the '05 was the gold plated victory nickel, and the '06 was the gold 50 cent piece. What are the '07/'08/'09 coins if they were produced?

Oh, so are they really finished then? It would seem they missed the 10c, $1, and $2.

Yes I would have liked to see our 10 cent coin the blue nose with gold high lites or one of our many silver dollars from the past or present. I haven't really herd anymore on the annual report or why they stopped it maybe it was when they found about all the gold missing and it sent up red flags?
