Not the best pictures, but I bought this as an EF, and I believe it to be in the neighborhood of AU 53-55.

These are the seller's pics. I just wanted to see what your take on it was.

Looks like strong AU-50 detail but I can't tell how much luster remains. If it still has strong luster I could see it as AU-55. The only places I can see possible wear are on Liberty's left thigh and the highest point of the eagle's breast feathers.

Are the dark obverse marks ink or grease? Maybe they could be removed using a bit of acetone.

Very nice walker, I would also agree with AU-50.

I'll know more in a couple hours. It's sitting in a basket at the post office right now. It was priced very reasonably...VF money. I thought it a good representative for my 7070.

I love walkers - such a beautiful coin. I'd have to say it's on the edge of VF to AU. I can't make out the wear on her face well enough nor the wear on the edges of the eagle's wings at the top.

It arrived this morning and looks better than even I, who tend to be an optimist at times, had expected. Lots of frost left on this coin.

Wow! Beautiful!

I would think an AU grade is not out of the question. Seems to have strong details left in the feathers and on her dress.

These 2nd photos do the coin justice.

AU and beautiful!
Reverse looks AU-53, at least

(and by that I mean 'conservative PCGS-style grading' AU-53)

Wow......That's twice I've been right without somebody telling me why I'm wrong. I might get to likin' it around here.

That said....I will be the first to admit when I'm wrong.

I'm going AU-58. Gorgeous coin!

Perhaps a bit of acetone to remove the itty bitty black lines and you're golden!

to CCF!

Keep posting pictures!!
