DBM Pillar of the Community Canada 9871 Posts	Posted 12/22/2009 2:12 pm EF45.Grading of circulated Canadian coins is a function of wear only.Both ICCS and CCCS would note a scratch or other detriment but this would not alter the grade.A scratch would make the coin less desirable and thus less valuable but would not affect the numerical grade.
