Nope. I gave up treeware a long time ago - it kept me from the Internet.

Yes I subscribe to Coin World and with that I get coin values. I really enjoy my subscrition. I know there are alot of people who think they are to full of advertisments but I still really like mine. I don't know how I will feel about them in 5 year after I have been collecting long but right now kind of what Buffaloboy said it is agood sourse of info and show you what coin are out there for sell.

Coin World and The Numismatist. I don't know why I enjoy Coin World so much. Most of it isn't very interesting. The ads are minefields full of overgraded coin (I have to have a relationship with someone to buy raw coins from them.) Still, every - what is it? Tuesday? - when I get home from work, it relaxes and sometimes even educates me. I'm always amused by the letters to the editor. Sometimes an article will get my attention. It's a good source of information about the Mint and Mint products. Anyway. The Numismatist is more of the same, except glossy and once a month.

I use to be a subs for CW- Quit that when forum closed-Get email stuff from ANA still, even tho I did not renew membership due to all the negative posts read here and other forums, plus the negative experience with them--(like taking months to answer an email on joining)(And not policing ebay)(And only being a money maker and not really a hobby pusher)&&&. The only thing I subs to now is perhaps the grey sheet, and that is only 1 pop at a time--when I need it then and right now--otherwise I use all my funds to buy gold/silver--

If you want a great coin magazine check out CAB for those of you - most of the forum who are not familiar with it that is the AUSTRALIAN COIN and BANKNOTE magazine.
You will even find a number of our members have published in it.
Quoting Habiru001
"....CAB is a monthly magazine (Coin and Banknote Magazine) which is published monthly in Australia. It does not replace Krause.
It is however a great read and has a lot of information for collectors.
If any of our members or readers are interested in taking out an annual subscription to Australia's premier coin and banknote magazine why not email John for details at: bixlives@nsw.bigpond.net.au T

The CAB is certainly a must read monthly magazine for those who are interested in Aussie Coins & Banknotes. It is good to see a few of those who publish articles in that magazine are members of this Community...

I was actually a Charter Member subscriber to Coin World, and have the very first issue (Vol. 1, No. 1) stored away somewhere. I don't actually subscribe, however I buy ther most recent issue each time I visit my coin store.

Well young man I think you will grow very unhappy with Coin Prices very quickly. I will pick one up two or three times a year. Coin World, Numismatic News and World Coin News are my favorites and I really like CoinAge magazine but have let it expire. CW and NN are weekly so those two tend to keep me occupied and up to date. Also might add CW puts out a new price guide each month so I don't need the CoinPrices magazine and quite honestly unless I have need to look something up coin prices are basically very boring and, for the most part, WRONG as the magazines are laid out months in advance so prices could have gone either way on every coin in the guide.

I had to vote no as far as subscriptions go, but I do browse the mags at the news stand for articles and info that interests me,, No matter which publication, I dont buy them for the price guides, As Terry said most are laid out months in advance are most often not a good source for that info,,
I bought June's coin Values magazine for the barber info, very good reading and a quick grading guide specific for the series !!
