I remember seeing a story, a long time ago, about how the BEP pulled this Serial Number (17761976) from all of the production runs and gave them to higher-ups, when the deuce was reintroduced, in 1975-76. Does anyone else remember this story?

That would be a pretty cool serial number to have on any note let alone a two forom that series.
