Is it just my imagination that these look bad or am I being swayed by the sellers ebay ID.

To be fair, he doesn't appear to be claiming it was slabbed by a TPG (correct me if I missed it). But I wouldn't touch that with a 10ft. pole. Trade dollars are notorious for having a lot of counterfeits. Plus the seller says it is in good condition, but is using it in a non-numismatic way, which is very sloppy.

I wouldn't touch that either. The pics are horrible and the description sucks and I'm not the least bit impressed with his feedback.

Anyone notice how many of the EXACT same coin he has for sale? What'd he do, stumble upon a roll of the suckers?

Looking at the coins....I would not go near them.
He isn't making any cert. claims. Somewhat vague. Feedback reviews are lousy.
