Just found this in an old box. Can you please tell me what grade it is, also what variety since 1843 had 3 varieties.

I would grade this coin VG-8.

Looks like a Petite Head, Small Letters and I agree with echizento that it's VG but maybe VG10.

9:00 on the obverse bothers me abit so I would probibly lean more towards VG-8
