foundinrolls Pillar of the Community United States 3507 Posts	Posted 01/03/2010 12:27 am Conder stole my thunder:-), so to speak. he is right when he says that the Mint never rolls the coins. Full sized Mint sewn bags also came to an end in and around 1999. Small souvenir bags have been made over the years but the large 5000 coin cent bags, for example were done around 1999. The Mint began to use giant "ballistic" material bags and shipped the bags out to counting companies on pallettes. The last full bags of cents I remember going through were 1998 D cents. Starting in 1999 all I got were the boxes at the banks that were counted by Brinks. Report this Post to the Staff
