Howdy Crew! Again, while suffering through a bit of insomnia, and prompted by Fred's inquiry about "Coin Vault" I was flipping channels and stumbled on the pitch for the new "First Strike OGP 2005 Silver Eagle Proofs†about an hour ago. Remember these are currently available from the Mint for $27.95 and $4.95 S&H...total...$32.80...(just got mine a few days ago) Well the folks at "Coin Vault" will re-ship these 2005's to you right now in "OGPs" for $59.96 and $4.99 S&H...total...$64.95[:0][:0][:0] Why that's only a 100% mark up and you better hurry "cause their flyin' out the door at this price point and we don't know when we'll get any more" What a way to make a living!!! Of course you could chose the "Bargain regular SAE for only $29.95 plus $4.99 S&H...Wow!!!

The worst part about these shows is the simple fact that they truely sell a ton of coins. More than most dealers combined. If you can find the TV bargain at twice the value that is truely a TV bargain. Most I see are 3 to 4 times anything that most dealers charge. I love the Morgan hoards. These 10 AU to BU coins for only $480. You even get all 3 1921 Morgans. That elusive "D" minted Morgan. Of course we all know how hard that is to find. Especially in AU. That lofty dealer bid of $11.75 is way out of reach of us average collectors and dealers.

I do sit and watch this show though. Just keeps me shaking my head and wondering where do they find enough suckers to keep it going.
