Could you please give me a grade for this: The amazing luster is hardly discernible from the scans.     The dealer and I both guessed a MS 62. Edited by coins92 03/08/2010 5:12 pm

Looks MS63 from the scans. The $1450 price is not too bad but keep your eyes peeled for raw, MS Saints in the $1300 range with the 10% December drop in gold prices.

when I see the prices these things are going for now it blows my mind, it was only a couple years ago I started my 7070 album and bought my St Gaudens coin for a little over 500.00 and it was graded MS-62 by PCGS at the time

Yea I know. When I first got into collecting in 2006, I bought my first Saint, a 1908 D No Motto, graded MS-63 by Anacs for 770. Amazing!

with the scans I would give it an MS 62. However, I'm positive that will go up when we get the actual photographs. There is a graded one MS 64 on ebay for $1600.
