i have a 5 dollar bill with a red seal and red serial#'s it is a 1928c does anyone know the value?

what you have is a US Note instead of a Federal Reserve Note probably. If you look above the portrait it should say US Note where newer notes (and even older ones) say Federal Reserve Note. They aren't rare but do sell usually for more than face value because of the date but it also goes by condition

actually I just took a second look at it and it does show 1 horizantal fond and some signs of wear

1928c note lists in the January Coins Magazine at fine $150.00 and xf at $900. Looks like you may have a good find tho pics are too small to get idea of condition
