Bryan1315 Bedrock of the Community United States 14454 Posts	Posted 12/31/2009 5:06 pm what you have is a US Note instead of a Federal Reserve Note probably. If you look above the portrait it should say US Note where newer notes (and even older ones) say Federal Reserve Note. They aren't rare but do sell usually for more than face value because of the date but it also goes by condition Report this Post to the Staff
