Like the 1845 I just posted, this appears to be 100 percent original. It's more fully struck than the 45, and has some interesting coloration right around the figure of liberty and around the coin's periphery. My camera didn't capture that very well. I have got to get a better camera.

i would not be scared to say this one is in between au-55 and MS-60

I agree completely, AU-55 to MS-60, but I'd say its had an old wiping/dipping based on the pics because of the 'shine' hugging the devices.

I'm going to say AU-58. I think there is some wear.

This one is clearly better than the 1845. It looks AU55 at least. Maybe a 58.

It's not so clear cut "in hand". Rememeber there's that "hundred dollar camera handicap". Luster is toned over, and if I pour incandescent light into it, I can probably capture it...on either coin.
