You're right,
bio. The '01-P's been called "NIFC" by local dealers,
but I can't find anything on the Web to support that.
The one odd thing is that I have never seen a 2001-P in circulation in
Denver, even though there are millions of Sac's floating around in the
Denver Light Rail system and the mountain town casinos. It's bizarre
that in eight years, none of the 2001-P Sac's in circulation seem to
have made it here (and I see other 2001-P coins in my change with some
regularity). 2001-D Sac's are unusual, you're less likely to find one
of those than an
SBA, but they are around. How is it that I could go
through enough Dollars to get all six date/MM '79-80 P-D-S
SBA's and
a 1981-P
SBA (!) from Light Rail change, but I never got a 2001-P
Sacagawea?
Given this situation, now more than ever, I want to add some
BU 2001-P Sac's to Denver's circulation pool...
