So I have been going through my nearly complete set of Barber dimes with Flynn's book of varieties and a 30X loupe. I found something on coin #5 in my album! I noticed an extra mark mushed to the right of the mint mark and took it into work to use the photo microscope. This image is the least amount of zoom I could use.

What do you all think? FS-009, RPM-001?

Looks like it might be one to me. I don't think a worn die would be quite that big of a change.

He's half of the Fivaz-Stanton team that catalogued Seated die varieties and applied FS numbers to them.

Very impressed with the detail image of
your 1893-S. I just bought Kevin Flynn's
reference book and what you have is the
RPM-001A.

Both images match.
