Hi all,Does anyone know what kind of error this coin has?The top part of the E in DEI is missing!

Also I should show the other side where the denticals look a little strange.

I'm inclined to agree with your weak strike..Here is a piture of a weak strike on a 65 penny...

I'm sure the experts will have other excellent suggestions...

thanks d23 that looks right,i was guessing it was a weak strike on the reverse near the rim because starting from the a in canada to the date..12 to 3 o clock aprox...the denticles are smooth,however the obverse appears sharp except for the e and top of I in dei which I'm thinking may be a plugged die...an experts opinion woulde be appreciated indeed providing my pictures are clear enough to see the areas
