But I taught him everything he knows!

I must admit I am a bit jealous, but happy
for him nonetheless.

I posted about his first 2 lucky finds:
A 1982 PROOF cent he pulled from my bowl
of circulated change.
and then...
A 1913-D type 2 buffalo he nicadated.

Now he finds a 199x (forgot exact date) cent
that was minted without copper plating. Yep,
just a zinc planchet, circulated to be sure,
but no sign of copper ever being on it or
scars that would be left from post-mint removal.

Not like he found a circulating double eagle or
something amazing like that, but nifty finds.

Your kidding of course. Kids today learn more by watching TV than anything you or any parent could imagine. Same with a computer when they get old enough to press a key. I remember driving somewhere when my kid was about 3 years old and he started pointing at street signs and saying things like ONE WAY, DON'T ENTER, STOP, etc. I asked where did you learn that. Sesame street you know.
And kids always find stuff on the ground since they are closer to them. And they too haven't gotten so old their eyes see a piece of paper and your kid picks up a coin.
Eventually you'll be asking him how to hook up electronic devices so be nice to him now.
