Type in PCGS Photograde in App Store search engine. Great for on-the- go grading. I just ordered the Itouch and now I won't have to lug around books to shows anymore.

Look at Presize. It might be good for determining a coins authenticity. It is a set of calipers that are really quite accurate.

Neat app. Thanks for pointing that out. There is also another one for the i-phone called coins this has images and histories of coins throughout the ages.

I have this horrible feeling that I won't be able to put the Itouch down. With 32gb I'll be able to upload all the photos of my coins that I possibly want and can post from pretty much anywhere.

I saw a post on here yesterday about this app and I downloaded it myself. Thanks for letting us know about it because I sure didn't know about it before I saw it posted here then

If you have a iphone type phone, the website looks great on it as well. I have a Android and just use the main pcgs site and everything is great. I would however use a app if they had one out for the droid.

The website looks perfect on my Itouch. Love it! Nothing is condensed.

I guess the app is great for ipod touch users because they will not have web access everywhere they go because it uses wifi to connect to the web, and if they have the ap they will still have the pictures no matter if they have wifi access or not. For iphone users and other internet compatible phones the website would be just as good so I guess they both have their uses for all people

Unfortunately for myself I am a Blackberry fan. I'm probably more attached to the Berry than I am to the coins, so I'll never be able to try an iphone or droid.

I agree. For what it is worth, The Coin Community Forums and NumisMedia render quite nice as well.

I still have my iPod touch (Do not call it an iTouch, that is a trademark of Logitech!) and I used it a lot at the shows. I copied my lists and other information to it for easy access (I have done the same with the Droid). One of the coin show venues has free Wi-Fi, but having "3G everywhere" on my Droid has proven to be more convenient for other locations.

Regardless of what smartphone you use, it is a good device to have for the hobby. The information available to you will only increase!

I use my iPhone to surf CCF at work since they blocked the site from our work computers.

Yeah, smartphones are great for running around coin shows. I have all my data on spreadsheets so I know what I need. Its great for searching and getting pics of varieties when you need to verify something you found at a show.

I wish they had this for the Droid - I have been looking for a book like this, but I think I will hold out. Too bad it doesn't have pricing information too . . . population report, etc.
