I've had a bad day Wednesday the 17th, I got robbed at a San Antonio flea market (Mission Open Air market). Lost a lot of merchandise, including the the following: ANACS Fr2 1916 D Mercury dime (4506501), Ghaznavid gold dirham, other numerous ancients, common U.S. Barber halves, qtrs, dimes. several semi key date U.S., some Mexican Republic and colonial. It was a heavy personal loss. I know that there are a lot of "amigos" here in this forum who have experienced similar losses.

That makes me sick. I miss the good old days when you left your front door and car unlocked.

Sorry to hear the news. Getting robbed is traumatic
aside from the financial end.
Insurance?

Ouch! That bites!

I would call every pawn shop and coin dealer within 100 miles for a month. Thieves don't travel, it cuts into the profit.

No security cameras? If there are buildings around there's a good chance they walked by.

I'm with xshift and will watch for any key data you have.

About 5 yrs. ago, I got hit. Or the house did. On another forum I enlisted the help of members to recover the stuff. I had 8 slabs w/certs. and 2 complete Merc sets, about 20 pieces of Ca. frac. pieces. What hurt most was a date coll. of 1957 world crowns my dad put together. Cops never recovered it, I did. Mostly at pawn shops. I had a doctor from Fla. pm me and said he thought he may have the Mercs. They were'nt mine, but I got to know a man of character.

It's news like this that's disheartening having your belonging just disappeared.
Hope you weren't hurt physically, knowing it will take a while to heal emotionally.
