I am looking at a set of BU & Gem Proof Ikes on APMEX. Anyone have anything good or bad to say about this site? I've browsed through before but never ordered anything.

Prices tend to be a bit high, shipping is expensive if using a credit or debit card to pay. Otherwise they are good.

I have had nothing but good experience with them other than, yes, the shipping is high with credit card transactions.

When I bought from there, you need to have 50 dollars worth of coin in your shopping cart to check out. More 1 oz silver bars for me!

They are a good place to sell Gold or silver bullion, but if you live in Oklahoma they charge sales tax on purchases. Don't visit the B&M. I have and it is just a small counter in a strip mall that is badly understaffed. They are set up for online sales.

You are right, okie-colin. I visited the store last December. There was no coin you can view in the store. The boss told me to check the pictures on the website. (This is why I purchased most of my coins online. )

They are pretty good guys. I did a review on them on over a year ago and they are also one of the sponsors for my Spare Change Video coin collecting guide wed video series online. I never had any problems with them even before they became a sponsor.

I personally have not sold or bought from them but I have a couple of friends who have sold some of their 90% silver to them and they received excellent deals vs. the current silver price.
