I have read where dateless buffaloes with a mintmark will carry a premium and also that some people buy the dateless ones for jewelry. So, my question is,what is a dateless buffalo worth and what kind of premium will a mint mark add. Also, does anyone know where I could sell about a dozen of them to jewelry making? Just give me some direction and I will do the leg work.

I personally nic-a-date all my dateless buffs. Not sure of the market for jewelry purpose but as far as value I wouldnt say more than 1-2 times face.

Shop here sells them for 20c each. Sometimes I look through it and grab the mm ones, and the ones with readable, but not full dates.

So how about the value of date restored ones? I've soaked one in vinegar for about a month and had the date show up...it's a 1915. I'd assume, less than G-4 value?

How does the vinegar work...does it discolor the coin at all?
