Hello all,
I have been informed that this coin is a Canadian large One Cent from the province of NEW BRUNSWICK, dated 1864.

On the front:
You have profile of Victoria
on the rear:
You have One Cent at the top, at the bottom reads, NEW BRUNSWICK, going inwards to the centre of the coin you have a wreath then the date 1864 then a crown.

Could anyone shed some light on this for me with if at all possible a rough value and grading?
I know it is impossible to 100% value it from a photo and in my opinion it is well worn, but I dont know how scarce they are or what value if any it has?

Thanks in advance

A good way to get a general idea of what your coin is worth is to check completed sales on ebay. Go to the Canadian coin section and type in "1864 New Brunswick". On the left hand side, look under "Preferences" and then under "show only" and check the "completed listings" box and it will show you completed auctions of your coin and the prices it sold for. I just looked and there are several completed listings for your coin.

I just got the latest edition of Canadian coin news today, which has the latest trends.
Hard to say but Id grade that coin at the most VG, which the value presently is 7 bucks Canadian, with an original mintage of 1,000,000.
