But, in some coin areas it is slang to describe an area of mintage between the first 10,000 strikes on the die and hub up to 50,000. Some locals were I dwell use it in the coin shops. It's not a real accurate measure, it simply means a coin has extraordinary detail without being designated a proof etc. Report this Post to the Staff
