2009 Lp4 Struck Through?

Found two of these.When I found the first one I thought Struck Through.Then when I found the second one I wondered if it was a die crack, unless a struck through can be in the same location on more then one coin.It is behind the ear and is below the surface.Input please.What do you all think?Thanks for lookin'

Looks cool though, whichever it is. Two of them would have to be a die failure of some type in my opinion.

Die cracks and struck through are very different from one another. Die cracks are raised on the coin, and a struck through would be incuse. That's the first clue. Second clue is that a die crack follows weak points (usually ridges) in the design and are jagged. Struck through happens wherever, and are generally not jagged edged. You have two coins struck through the same obstruction...looks like a piece of thread...and yes, it is possible for two or more coins to be struck through the same piece without it moving between strikes.

Trainhater,No you wouldn't,my eye glasses are more then a quarter inch thick and I need new ones real soon But thanks for saying it's a nice find.
