You just sign up for them.Look at the top of the page on E-Bay,I think.I had to spend quite a bit to get enough points to buy a coin like that.....

Great coin!....Especially as a bonus for using ebay. Glad to see you've got that posting thing down now Aladin. I think that you earn something like Two Cents for every dollar worth of merchandise that you pay for with paypal. Every three months, your total matures and you can use it as cash on an ebay purchase.

Just to note about ebay Bucks: Quote:At this time, the program is only available to a small group of invited ebay members. We hope to expand it in the future, though.

I haven't spent my ebay bucks this time yet, but been looking. last month I had a little over a 100 dollars in there, this month I only have 40. I didn't know it was only available to certain people though I did get this one free from HJB though, I had a 50.00 Gift certificate and this coin was 60.00 but when they sent me the email they said it would be sent paid in full without me sending the extra 10.00

Sweet, I love the ebay buck program but wish it was open for everyone. Between ebay bucks and Bing cashback, I gotten quite a few free coins!

I imagine that it could be a program offered to only the select vast majority, but I have yet to hear of anyone who the ebay bucks thing is 'not' available to.

Very nice. GCO always seems to list nice coins. The ebay bucks program is interesting. Though they offered double bonuses from Oct til the end of 09 and I didn't seem to get in although I had met their requirements. Anyway, 2% of the item price is actually a lot when you consider that's 15-25% of what they are making on the sale. Seems odd to give away 15% of your revenue unless you are gaining something in return. Most people already use Paypal to pay for ebay auctions, so they must be gaining something else from it.

Just like a gift card at a store. They make money when you spend your ebucks too. It is guaranteed revenue and sales and the hope is you will use your twenty dollars you have to spend and purchase a more expensive item. I think it shows that even ebay is feeling the blow of the economy but it is a smart move on their part too. Just my Two CentsGod bless, Brad

A beautiful coin, Brewzz. I used up my ebay bucks and spent additional $20 for a coin last week. You are right, soldier4Christ.

Wow! Thanks for letting us know Brewzz! I just signed up for it, and my payout will be in April. 2% is actually pretty darn good. I would never of known if I did not read this thread, since I usually just ignore all these weird advertisement thingies. You just made my day!

I only earned $6.18 last quarter. LOL. But I don't buy many coins on ebay, except commons, like State Quarters or Lincoln cents in lots. I like Harlan J. Berk, Empire Coins (Richard Stockton), JJTeaparty, and Alaska Coin Exchange. Anyone else have any good dealers they use that have websites?
